About me
Madison Marsh, Miss America 2024 and a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force, was born and raised in Arkansas. She graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2023 with a degree in physics. She made history as the first active-duty Air Force officer to hold a Miss America state title, being crowned as Miss Colorado 2023. Madison established the Whitney Marsh Foundation to honor her mother, who passed away from pancreatic cancer at the age of 41. As founder and president, she successfully raised over a quarter of a million dollars dedicated to pancreatic cancer research.
Having interned with Harvard Medical School, Madison utilized AI for pancreatic cancer detection while pursuing a Master's in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School. A National Truman Scholar and two-time National Astronaut Scholar, Madison achieved eight Dean's List recognitions at the USAFA and completed a NASA internship for gamma-ray burst research.
In addition to her academic achievements, Madison is also a certified Private Pilot with a black belt in Taekwondo. In her free time, she enjoys soaring through the skies, cooking pasta, and immersing herself in a good read. Madison embodies the legacy and purpose of the Miss America opportunity by her values of service and excellence both in her military career and philanthropic endeavors.
